On January 1, 2000, in an unprecedented and risky move, the world’s largest secular television network aired a primetime “pre-evangelistic” message by spiritual philosopher Dr. Ramesh Richard. It exposed several million individuals in over 50 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the South Pacific to the Gospel. This telecast, featuring a fresh message each year, continued to air on New Year’s Day, the only global holiday, until 2008.RREACH reconfigured this project around internet delivery platforms, and still uses this strategy today.
