RREACH’s first operational value is “Only God.” One way we recognize and live our dependence on Him is by beginning, covering and ending every aspect of ministry in prayer, with thanksgiving.
Dr. Richard says, “Prayer precedes ministry,” and as the Lord continues to open doors for his ministry, we realize afresh the need for prayer.

Preparing Expository Sermons Tamil Translation | March 8, 2021
Dear Praying Friend,
Praise God for a new translation of Dr. Richard’s book Preparing Expository Sermons into the Tamil language. Last week, the Salt and Light Bible College affiliated with the Asia Theological Association held a dedication ceremony at which Dr. Richard spoke. Pray that God would use the Tamil translation for the training of many pastors in South Asia. Those involved in the book’s distribution also request prayer for their endeavors at Bible colleges in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore.

Making Preparing Expository Sermons classes available online | February 22, 2021
Dear Praying Friend,
Praise God for the partnerships beginning to make Dr. Richard’s expository preaching method available through online classes. We recently received a message from a woman who said, “My husband has been looking for the Spanish copy of your book Preparing Expository Sermons like crazy! … the Spanish version is out of stock everywhere we have looked. My husband has been preparing and studying to be able to diligently and truthfully preach the Word of God and your book has been greatly recommended.”
Praise God for such eager shepherds of His people! We have followed up with this woman and her husband, and we seek more ways to spread the word about how to get the book and to get training in multiple languages. Pray for these endeavors. Pray for Dallas and national GProAcademy graduates who train pastors in their areas. Pray that this training becomes more and more accessible, even in remote places. Thank God for all that He has already made possible.

Dr. Richard’s writing projects | February 17, 2021
Dear Praying Friend,
In addition to writing a book about the uniqueness of the Lord Jesus Christ, Dr. Richard has been compiling thoughts for several new devotional/journal notebooks, one for believers, one for pre-Christ individuals and one based on the Psalms.
We thank God for the inspiration He has given Dr. Richard for these books. Pray for the team as they pull together final details and move into the publishing process. Pray for these resources to be well-used to invite people into a deeper life with God. Pray for broad distribution, including the process of translation into various languages.
Continue to lift up the right mainstream publisher for the book about the Lord Jesus. The world needs clear proclamation of Him more each day. Pray for the right connection at the right time. Thank God for His sovereignty in this process.

Update on Rajiv Richard and PRAYERREACH invitation | February 12, 2021
Dear Praying Friend,
Every week Dr. Ramesh Richard focuses the PRAYERREACH Zoom call* with intercession around the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has affected every individual on the planet, many with great suffering and loss. We have yet to see its end and the extent of its damage.
Persevere with us in prayer over this pandemic. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, livelihoods, peace of mind about simply leaving home. Pray for pastors, who strive to shepherd congregations under restrictions. In many areas, the technology infrastructure will not support much online communication, resulting in greater isolation and falling away. Pray that in this darkness, the world will see the Savior’s light.
Praise God with us, too, for His abundant mercies amid trouble. A little over a month ago Dr. Richard’s brother Rajiv, RREACH Coordinator of International Events, lay in a hospital bed fighting COVID-19 for his life. Now he is home and just celebrated another birthday. More praise: Massive shifts in Dr. Richard’s ministry have revealed alternate ways to proclaim God’s Word and multiply proclaimers. We thank God for His care and the ongoing evidence of His sovereignty.

Excellence in communications | February 7, 2021
Dear Praying Friend,
“Intentionality” characterizes much about Dr. Richard’s ministry. This affects the messaging, the formatting, the graphics, the timing, the platform and many other considerations. Pray that God will optimize his role and maximize the range of his ministry.
Praise God for all the communication options He makes available! Pray that he will lead Dr. Richard and the RREACH staff to make the most of them. Pray for all “messaging” to be creative, clear and concise, whether in letters, emails, social media posts, videos, teleconferencing or more.
Pray that we will place our communications where people will most benefit from and engage with them. Pray that each communication will touch the people it needs to reach. Pray that God will enable us to make different options available as people have need. Finally, pray that all RREACH communication furthers the proclamation of God’s Word, to His glory.
