Only God

RREACH’s first operational value is “Only God.” One way we recognize and live our dependence on Him is by beginning, covering and ending every aspect of ministry in prayer, with thanksgiving.
Dr. Richard says, “Prayer precedes ministry,” and as the Lord continues to open doors for his ministry, we realize afresh the need for prayer.
Please take a moment to pray and praise over the updates on this page, featuring a daily prayer calendar at the beginning of each month. Also let us know how we can pray for you!

Moving forward in faith | March 8, 2020

Dear praying friends,

You are invited to join our next virtual prayer gathering on Thursday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m. U.S. Central Daylight Savings Time. For more information, please email Melissa@rreach.org or call +1 972-528-6100.

In brief:

Praise God for the growing registration list for the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America and the Caribbean; pray for many more registrations.

Pray for the 2020 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy candidates still applying for visas.

Pray for Dr. Richard’s trip to several countries in the south of Africa.

Praise God for sustaining the graduates of GPA Chad. Pray for upcoming national GPAs.

The bigger picture:

The latest count of trainers of pastors registered for the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress is 151. Praise God! Pray for the team working diligently to mobilize the right 500. Pray for those who wish to attend but are hesitating to register because of potential airfare costs. RREACH is covering all their conference costs, including boarding and lodging. Pray that they will step forward in faith to register now.

We have 13 candidates for the 2020 Dallas GPA with visas. We need 12 more. Please ask God for great favor on those applying for visas (five this week). Pray for the team in Dallas as they prepare.

Dr. Richard is off on a trip to several countries in southern Africa. Pray for his health, safety and impact. Pray that he will be sensitive to God and proclaim His Word clearly and winsomely. Pray that pastoral leaders will be encouraged and pre-Christians attracted to the Lord Jesus. Praise God for Dr. Richard’s  recent fruitful trips to Nashville and Atlanta in the U.S.

Nineteen of 26 GPA Chad attendees, in addition to some organizers, came down with malaria and flu during the GPA. Praise God that they persevered to finish! Pray for His protection as they return to their ministries better able to preach and live biblically.

Please also pray for a national GPA for pastors from a closed Southeast Asian country. Organizers ask for earnest prayer regarding coronavirus and other concerns that could hinder pastors from attending.

Thank you!

In his words: Ramesh Richard February 2020 update | February 23, 2020

Dear praying friends,

We have just passed 02022020. For 900+ years we could not have written out a numerical palindrome (same backward as forward) of the date. February 2, 2020, tells me the year and decade are in full swing. I must use time and life well.

The year began with an intense trip to Brazil to teach a Dallas Seminary course on Culture, Meaning, and Contextualization to 14 doctoral level students. One wrote, “Professor, I write briefly to thank you for this week of great wealth for our lives.” RREACH uses the tagline “delivering spiritual wealth worldwide” with special reference to those who have not heard the Gospel, but did not think we bring wealth to believers, too. Paul’s writings express biblical precedence to “spiritual riches in Christ Jesus” for all.

I also got to preach and cast vision for the October 2020 Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean in three cities. We want 20% of the attendees to be Portuguese-speaking. Please pray for God’s wisdom in this good work of preparing for great outputs of this entire vision and project.

The day after I returned, I had to speak at the Dallas Seminary chapel. Though I was tired after an overnight flight from São Paulo and sad with a dear friend who lost his wife, God strengthened me. My friend and I, and all of us, must use time and life well.

A new immigrant congregation made up of dynamic and gifted young people from India invited me to bring an evangelistic talk to their growing church plant. I remembered my own youth and offered to switch ages with them. No one has yet agreed.

With the new year upon us, I am shifting my attention to writing for all audiences, delivery mechanisms, and line extension of products. Would you pray for deep concentration of mind and the creation of blocks of time to produce content of substance to deliver spiritual health to believers and nonbelievers?

Thank you for joining us in yet another year of service. I have many decisions to constantly make; I need to know the Lord’s guidance, insight and empowerment, for they affect many at several levels. And you need to know that your faithfulness helps keep me serving in, at and through RREACH. Thank you so very much.

Pray with us this Thursday, February 20 | February 16, 2020

Dear praying friends,

In brief:

Praise God and pray for our upcoming prayer call with RREACH friends.

Pray for a national Global Proclamation Academy (GProAcademy) taking place in North Africa.

Pray for the Dallas GProAcademy candidates applying for visas.

Praise God for good response to our new podcast series.

Pray for recruitment efforts for the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean (GProLATAM&CARIB Congress).

The bigger picture:

Pastors enjoy some recreational time together--a great way to bond--at the national GProAcademy taking place in North Africa right now.

We are excited about our virtual prayer gathering coming this Thursday, Feb. 20, 8:00 p.m. US Central Standard Time! Praise God for the technology and skills that make it possible. Pray for everything to work well and that this time of praying together will please Him and accomplish His purposes.

You are invited to this prayer gathering. If you would like to participate, let us know at Melissa@rreach.org or +1 972-528-6100.

Pray for the organizers and attendees of a national GProAcademy in North Africa going on right now. Pray that the pastors will be connected, united and strengthened to preach and live biblically in this difficult place. Pray that all involved will sense God’s loving care and sovereignty. Pray for the preparation for other national GProAcademies.

Thank God for another group of fine young candidates for the Dallas GProAcademy; we currently have 10 with visas (nine of whom already had visas). Sadly, several pastors' visa applications have been rejected. Every year we need fervent prayer in faith for the visa application process. Pray that He will grant favor to those waiting to hear if their visas were granted and those who have yet to apply, as He sees fit. Thank Him now for His wise provision.

Our Media team has repackaged some of Dr. Richard’s video messages in the popular podcast (Web-based, digital audio) format. Praise God for the good response these messages are getting! Pray for many listeners to be exposed to the Lord Jesus Christ and for many to embrace Him as Savior and Lord.

Finally, keep lifting our GProLATAM&CARIB Congress recruitment efforts before the Lord. Momentum is beginning to build. Also pray for those who wish to attend but have financial or logistical challenges.

Thank you!

This week in brief:

Praise God for updates to the LifeRocks media outreach website!

Pray for national Global Proclamation Academies (GPAs) as they start again this year.

Pray that Dr. Ramesh Richard will be able to set aside time for writing projects.

Praise God for progress made toward holding the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean (GProLATAM&CARIB Congress) in October.

The bigger picture:

Click the picture above to go to LifeRocks.org and watch Dr. Richard's latest short outreach talk.

Praise God for progress in updating our LifeRocks website. Pray for the ongoing project of translating more than 300 LifeRocks videos into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic and Chinese. We need more translators. Pray that these messages will cause many to think differently about the Lord Jesus.

We are working toward national GPAs this year in North Africa, Southeast Asia, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Lithuania, Macedonia and more. Each requires great effort in organizing and recruiting. Pray for the RREACH team overseeing these. Pray for local organizers to each find 25 pastors who see the GPA’s value and can set aside 10 days to attend.

Ask God to provide the quality time and concentration Dr. Richard needs for writing projects. Pray for His enablement in every way. Pray for Dr. Richard’s meeting with the RREACH board of directors later this week.

Praise God for bringing people and details together for the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress. We pray that everything we do and say in preparation will honor God and accomplish His work. Please pray for the program team as they pursue presenters. And keep praying for early registrations with payment. We're seeing better progress.

Thank you!
