Only God

RREACH’s first operational value is “Only God.” One way we recognize and live our dependence on Him is by beginning, covering and ending every aspect of ministry in prayer, with thanksgiving.
Dr. Richard says, “Prayer precedes ministry,” and as the Lord continues to open doors for his ministry, we realize afresh the need for prayer.
Please take a moment to pray and praise over the updates on this page, featuring a daily prayer calendar at the beginning of each month. Also let us know how we can pray for you!

Prayer Updates

Updated: Remembering, rejoicing, praying | April 19, 2019

Dear praying friends,

In brief:

At this Holy time, we remember the sacrifice of the Cross and rejoice in the victory of the Resurrection.

We still need pastors for the 2019 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy. Please pray.

Pray for the launch of our newest LifeRocks media outreach video and our upcoming session to film new videos.

The Lord willing, Dr. Richard heads to Central Albania and Rwanda in the next few weeks. Pray for preparations.

The bigger picture:

View Dr. Richard's Easter greeting by clicking the image above.

In this precious time for our global family of Faith, let us think on our Lord Jesus Christ with humility and joy. Let us faithfully represent Him and uphold those proclaiming Him everywhere. He is risen!

We need your ongoing intercession for the 2019 Dallas GProAcademy (dGPA). Momentum in getting pastors has slowed considerably. We currently have 18 pastors who have successfully secured visas; we are asking God for the right 25. Pray for the seven pastors who have yet to apply for visas. Pray for more good candidates from new or under-represented countries to apply for the dGPA. Many excellent pastors have applied, but we must continue recruiting because their U.S. visas were denied.

Please also pray for the national GProAcademies set to begin next week in Panama and Indonesia (women’s).

Our newest LifeRocks media outreach video is scheduled to launch soon. Praise God for the opportunities provided by today’s technologies! Pray for many to watch the video, share it and talk with online counselors. Pray that they will recognize and receive the Lord Jesus as the one true God and only Savior. Also pray for Dr. Richard and the team as they prepare to record another set of videos next week.

Please lift up preparations for Dr. Richard’s upcoming trip to Albania and Rwanda. Pastoral training events and outreaches are being planned in both places. Both countries have difficult histories and this is the 25th anniversary year since the Rwandan genocides. Pray for God to open key opportunities for Dr. Richard to minister. Pray that he will bring glory to God, encouragement to those of the Faith, and hope to the desperate.

Thank you for praying—because He is risen indeed!

RREACH Daily Prayer Reminder - April | April 12, 2019

Dear praying friends,

Many have told us they use the daily prayer calendar from our RR Crossing newsletter, so we are expanding it to more accessible and updateable formats. We hope this will accelerate how you can find out what God is doing through RREACH and pray.

Each month we will post a set of daily requests here on the prayer blog, in addition to our weekly updates. Utilize them in whatever way works best for you.

Thank you for joining us in praying. It means more than you can know and helps explain the impact God grants this ministry. The following reminders cover the next half of April.

15     Ramesh Richard: to be humble before God, sensitive to needs and have clear direction in all areas of life

16     Dallas GPA: God's provision of the right 25 pastors to attend the 2019 Dallas GPA; 16 currently have visas to come

17     Media Outreach: smooth production process for LifeRocks videos—writing, filming, editing, curating content, promoting and distributing

18    GProCommission: growing collaboration with pastoral training individuals and organizations

19     RREACH: funds needed to support Dr. Richard’s itinerant proclamation ministry

20     National GPA: graduates to apply what they have learned and to remain connected

21     Rejoice in the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, who died to atone for our sins and lives to draw all to Himself!

22     Media Outreach: the filming of Dr. Richard’s next set of LifeRocks videos

23     RR: safety, health and travel mercies

24     Dallas GPA: God to make the 2019 GPA a life- and ministry-changing event for this cohort of pastors

25     National GPA: GPA Panama and wGPA Indonesia (women’s) attendees to be connected, united and strengthened as they meet 4/25–5/4

26     iProMission: wisdom in making Dr. Richard’s books, talks and other resources available to those who most need them

27     GProCommission: accuracy, efficiency and speed in getting materials translated into different languages for eager pastors

28     RREACH: Effective communication among team members, who are based all around the world

29     Dallas GPA: pastors to be supernaturally connected, united and strengthened to think, live and preach biblically

30     iProMission: Richard’s trip to Albania and Rwanda to strengthen pastors and speak to pre-Christian opinion leaders

Ramesh Richard proclaims God’s Word; RREACH maximizes the proclamation globally and multiplies the proclamation locally.

Hope for the spiritually hungry | March 22, 2019

Dear praying friends,

In brief:

Give thanks for Dr. Richard’s many opportunities to share Good News in spiritually hungry places.

Pray for implementation of ministry strategies over the final two years of RREACHABLE (2010–2020) and into the following decade.

Continue to intercede for Dallas and national Global Proclamation Academy preparations.

Praise God and pray for more growth in our Media Outreach.

Praise God for bringing Bonnie Richard’s mom through surgery and ask Him for good recovery.

The bigger picture:

On his recent trip to Asia, Dr. Richard encouraged believers in the Lord Jesus who are a minority in their country.

Dr. Richard has just completed a 15-day, five-country trip. God blessed him with strong opportunities to encourage Christ’s Church and offer hope to the spiritually hungry.

He wrote to RREACH colleagues, “I am sitting at a window looking at beautiful mountains and greens—except that the beauty only extends to topography. The people here would like to extend it to the human situation—I am also overlooking a monument which people have been circling since 3:30 a.m. to repent of misdeeds and gain future merit. If eternal salvation was possible in this way, I would not need to meet with you. And yet we are, for the sake of populating heaven under the revelation of God, who is not wrong about Himself, His Son, His Salvation, His grace or His mission.”

Please pray that many exposed to the Good News of the Lord Jesus on that trip will receive it. Pray, too, that we will execute God’s priorities, strategies and plans for RREACH’s next decade of ministry with faithfulness, joy and excellence.

Preparations continue for the 2019 Dallas GPA and upcoming national GPAs. Intercede for the right 25 pastors to attend each, for visas for those needing to come to the U.S., and for physical and spiritual protection of those coordinating the GPAs.

Praise God for the tools and opportunities available for RREACH’s Media Outreach. Pray that we will strategically use YouTube to reach large numbers of individuals, for Dr. Richard’s preparations to film new videos, and for the new LifeRocks Instagram account (@LifeRocks_official) to be effective.

Thank you for praying for Bonnie Richard’s mom! Please ask the Lord to ease her pain and help her regain strength after her surgery.

Thank you again, pray-ers!

Faithful in doing | March 8, 2019

Dear praying friends,

In brief:

Praise God for a wonderful weekend of vision-casting with long-time and new RREACH friends.

Pray for Dr. Richard’s 15-day, five-country trip to sensitive areas in Asia.

Praise for continuing visa approvals for Dallas GPA candidates; please continue to pray!

Praise for the recently completed national GPA in Madagascar and pray for upcoming ones in Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Panama and Indonesia (women’s).

Uphold Bonnie Richard’s mother, Joyce, who had a serious fall.

The bigger picture:

Four Dallas Global Proclamation Academy graduates now studying at Dallas Seminary joined RREACH's vision-casting weekend. They prayed over the ministry in their primary languages: Tagalog (Pastor N, Philippines), English (Pastor G, Cameroon), Mongolian (Pastor C, Mongolia) and French (Pastor D, Haiti).

We’re grateful for the 70+ long-time and new friends who joined Dr. Richard last weekend for an overview of RREACH’s next decade of ministry. Praise God for how He has used Dr. Richard and RREACH to change how large numbers of individuals think and hear about the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that we will be faithful in doing what He has laid before us. Pray for creativity, clarity, perseverance, provision in all ways, and fruit beyond expectation.

Dr. Richard has just left for Asia, where God has opened doors for proclamation and encouraging leaders in some spiritually needy areas. We are unable to disclose locations ahead of time due to local situations. Please ask for His guidance and protection, for the good news of the Lord Jesus to penetrate the neediest places, and for productive meetings with RREACH's international team members.

Although we received word of three visa denials this week, God has granted 15 pastors visas to attend the 2019 Dallas GPA, seven from new or under-represented countries. Praise Him! We are praying for at least 10 more, and for even more new countries to be represented. Also intercede for us as we prepare to make this a life-changing time for these special young pastors.

The reasons for praise just keep coming. GPA Madagascar finished last week. Pray that these 19 leaders will preach, think and live biblically as they return to their homes and ministries. Also pray for preparations for GPA Guatemala, GPA Guinea-Bissau, GPA Panama and GPA Indonesia (women’s).

Bonnie Richard’s mother, Joyce, fell this week and had surgery. Please ask the Lord to sustain her through the recovery process and that Joyce’s firm belief that “God is in charge” will be a powerful witness to everyone helping care for her.

Thank you for praying!

In his words: Ramesh Richard February 2019 update | February 22, 2019

Dear praying friends,

No sooner had this year begun than I headed on a four-region, nine-day international trip filled with opportunities for personal proclamation and global multiplication.

Heard of The Gambia? The smallest of African nations features only 4 percent Christians. And yet, a faith-filled 2018 grad of our Dallas Global Proclamation Academy arranged special meetings with several constituencies.

About 100 churches attended a united Sunday evening meeting, followed by a Monday morning gathering of 100 pastoral leaders. Separate dinners hosted business and government leaders. Several publicly professed faith. The trip climaxed with meeting the nation’s president, who had me pray for him in the name of the risen Lord Jesus.

Long transit waits in North Africa (10 hours) and the Middle East (12 hours) allowed me pastoral visits with two sets of couples, of which one husband has reverted to the religion of his birth. But that did not keep me from praying with him and his Christian wife in Jesus’ name.

Attending the 50th reunion of my high school (we graduated at 16!) in South Asia brought opportunities to personally and publicly present the glad news. About 800 eleventh and twelfth graders heard the Gospel, and over 200 of them responded for an embrace of the Lord Jesus.

I am teaching 12 fine students at Dallas Seminary this semester. And to once again preach at the Seminary’s chapel service was a privilege, as always. I have done so for 30+ years!

Beyond personal proclamation, I must receive and deploy God’s gift of leadership for global multiplication. Serving as the board chair of Trainers of Pastors International Coalition [TOPIC] carries distinct responsibilities, including a major recent meeting, while constantly seeking God’s wisdom for the future.

Thank you for walking with me and the RREACH ministry into the unknown, but not uncertain, future. The Lord provides courage and enthusiasm through your prayers. Thank you very much.
