Prayer Updates
In his words: Ramesh Richard August update | August 3, 2018
Dear praying friends,
Any time I get to personally deliver God’s Word, whether in evangelism or edification, with a few or many, I live out what God has made, gifted, called and placed me to do. That’s why RREACH began and exists. Thank you for prayerfully supporting this proclamation ministry.
Barely had the Dallas GPA ended when I rushed off to Rochester, New York. In addition to the cooler weather away from a “blazin’ Texas,” it was a delight to deliver God’s Word to 600+ Bhutanese-Nepalese. Kicked out of Bhutan, they lived as refugees for 20 years in Nepal.
I got to challenge them to spiritual and moral commitments. Dozens responded to the invitation to re-start their spiritual life!
Then I touched Syracuse, where my father breathed his last only five months prior, and preached where my brother-in-law and sister serve. In February, I had to speak there the very day after he died. As difficult as it was, a dozen or so came to Christ. This time, many committed to living a life of surrender and abandonment to Christ and His cause.
Two international events fulfilled the multiplication side of this global proclamation ministry. Twenty-five pastoral leaders attended GPA Grenada, a small “isle of spice where everyone is nice” in the lower West Indies. I got to address the GPA graduation, joint Sunday services, a pastors gathering, their Prime Minister’s cabinet, and a pre-evangelistic outreach dinner. Half of the 80 guests were unbelievers and five men (men alone!), indicated a profession of faith.
Women’s GPAs are filled pastors’ wives and women who primarily teach women. At the end of each GPA, I “charge” them into the Gospel ministry by video or phone call. It was thrilling to get photos of WGPA Nigeria, of both prayer time and play time—women’s soccer! I don’t think these wives and mothers have played anything for a long time!
Thanks for making it possible to do what is humanly impossible, in ability or resources. You help us reverse the eternal destinies of large numbers of desperate individuals worldwide! You are a blessing to me and RREACH.

Praise for a busy summer | July 27, 2018
Dear praying friends,
In brief:
Praise God for His great blessings on Dr. Richard’s trip to Grenada.
Uphold Dr. Richard’s upcoming speaking engagement and recording of short evangelistic talks.
We are still waiting for Dr. Richard’s Venezuela visa. This window of opportunity is closing. Please pray.
Praise God for GPA Nigeria (Women’s), underway right now.
Pray for good GProCommission partnerships to develop.
The bigger picture:
Dr. Richard spoke to Grenadian pastors and church leaders about spiritual convictions for leadership service
GPA Grenada finished on a high note last week as Dr. Richard was able to join the 25 young pastoral leaders for their graduation. Praise God and pray that they will remain connected, united and strengthened as they return home to daily demands.
While in Grenada, Dr. Richard also spoke at an event for opinion leaders, in two church services, with the Prime Minister’s cabinet, and for another group of pastors. Several individuals indicated making significant personal decisions. Please ask the Lord for ongoing fruit from his ministry there.
Dr. Richard is scheduled to speak at a Dallas-area church this weekend, record messages for his LifeRocks series on peace early next week, and speak several other times over the next month. Pray for good preparation time and for the Lord’s Spirit to be upon him for these engagements.
We need to make a decision very soon regarding Dr. Richard’s planned trip to minister to Venezuela pastors. Please ask the Lord for Dr. Richard’s visa to arrive immediately and for clarity about moving forward. Pray, also, for the pastors and families serving in this stricken country.
GPA Nigeria, RREACH’s second women’s GPA, began Tuesday. Praise God for the women who have gathered for training in preaching and living biblically. Pray for them to be connected, united and strengthened.
One aim of the GProCommission for Pastoral Trainers is to collaborate with pastoral training organizations around the world. Please intercede for insight on how to best do this. Thank you!

Ramesh on the road (again) | July 19, 2018
Dear praying friends,
In brief:
Remember Dr. Richard as he speaks at GPA Grenada and several other events this weekend.
Pray for GPA Nigeria (Women’s), scheduled for July 24 – August 2.
Dr. Richard plans to record LifeRocks messages later this month. Please pray for his preparation.
Continue to ask God for quick delivery of Dr. Richard’s visa for Venezuela.
The bigger picture:
Pastor S, 2015 Dallas GPA grad from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, helped teach sessions at GPA Grenada.
Dr. Richard is headed to Grenada for the GPA Grenada graduation and several other speaking engagements. Please pray for God to use him powerfully to encourage the pastors, business and government leaders, and others to whom he ministers. Pray also for his health and safety.
RREACH’s second GPA for women is set to begin Tuesday, July 24, in Nigeria. Visa issues have hindered some RREACH staff from getting into the country. Pray that the Lord will make the way for organizers and potential attendees to arrive safe and sound, and for the Holy Spirit to specially connect, unite and strengthen the women. Please also intercede for the funding needed to hold all the national GPAs scheduled this year.
The Lord willing, later this month Dr. Richard will record another set of LifeRocks short video messages for people who don’t know much about the Lord Jesus Christ. Please ask God to inspire him as he prepares. Also pray for a smooth production process.
Venezuelan pastors have gone to a lot of effort to organize a conference for local pastors and a talk on success for area professionals and leaders August 2 – 6. However, Dr. Richard is still waiting for his visa. Pray for it to be granted and arrive quickly, and for this trip to be a tremendous blessing to a troubled country.

Papers arrived! Pray for fast turn-around | July 10, 2018
Thank you for praying! The documents we needed (see Urgent: Visa Needed) arrived this morning. Right now they are on the way to the consulate. Now please pray for fast turn-around, not only so Dr. Richard receives the visa in time for his trip, but also because the earlier we book the ticket, the less expensive it is!
Also pray for our hosts to be able to put to put together very specific and strategic events while they face many uncertainties. Pray that God will prepare the way for Dr. Richard to be used mightily in this nation which needs much healing and encouragement.

Urgent: Visa Needed | July 9, 2018
Please urgently join us in praying for the necessary paperwork to arrive today in order to apply for a visa to a turbulent country (13000% inflation) listed in the current US travel ban where Dr. Richard has ministry opportunities in the beginning of August. The visa could take up to 15 days or longer so the window in receiving a visa is closing. Thank you for joining us in prayer on this important matter.
