Prayer Updates
Some items on our minds... | December 8, 2017
Dear praying friends,
Thank you for remembering RREACH before the Lord Jesus during this extra-busy season! Praise and thanks to the Lord Jesus for His unfailing goodness!
Some items currently on our minds and hearts:
A major consideration for the RREACH board (meeting today) and our executive team (meeting soon) is how to expand Dr. Richard’s personal proclamation ministry. Please pray for creativity and capacity in the planning and the implementation. Also pray for wisdom as Dr. Richard thinks and prays through 2018 speaking opportunities.
RREACH is establishing another Chair of Biblical Preaching and Pastoral Ministries, this time at ESEPA Bible College and Seminary in Costa Rica. Dr. Richard heads to Costa Rica next week, the Lord willing, to speak at ESEPA’s graduation ceremony and the Chair installation.
The GProCommission team is on an ambitious deadline to launch a pastoral training resources Web site at the New Year. They are also training to implement an improved customer relationship management platform. Ask the Lord to grant them efficiency, energy and keen minds.
We have 19 approved applicants, five from new countries, for the 2018 Dallas GPA. Much prayer would be appreciated for a full cohort of 25 next June with at least five new countries represented. Intercede also for the right 25 delegates at each 2018 national GPA.
Many, many pastoral leaders and trainers around the world are tired, discouraged and facing tough circumstances. Pray for our Sovereign God to refresh their hearts in Him, and to protect, provide for and unite them.
The RREACH staff prays together daily. If we may pray for you, please let us know: rreach.org/contact-us.

A wonderful surprise | December 1, 2017
Dear praying friends,
RREACH just received a wonderful surprise: the independent charity evaluator Charity Navigator has updated our rating to 100! Less than one percent of all the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have received perfect scores. We are humbly grateful.
Please continue to pray that we will do our best in every way to steward what God has entrusted to us, especially as the RREACH board of directors plans to meet late next week. Also remember the executive team meetings set to take place, the Lord willing, in a couple of weeks.
In the area of Media Outreach, Dr. Richard’s latest video campaign on grief is doing well. Pray for many to hear his talks, engage with us through LifeRocks.org, and ultimately trust the Lord Jesus Christ for their lives.
Work toward the 2018 Dallas GPA continues on schedule. We have filled every Master Coach slot and have accepted 17 pastors, four from new countries. We’re also working toward holding at least 25 national GPAs next year. Please ask God’s direction and favor.
Thank you!

A few things we're thankful for | November 22, 2017
Dear praying friends,
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season in the U.S., here are just a few things for which RREACH thanks God:
During a recent trip to New York State to visit his dad, Ramesh had an impromptu, informal opportunity to share with 32 foreign service officials of a strategic country, some of whom had never before heard of the Lord Jesus
That unexpected opening to talk about the Lord Jesus arose at a point when Ramesh was fatigued from fighting a couple of concurrent illnesses; God answered his cry and gave him supernatural strength for the moment
The first women's national GPA concluded successfully; attendees included 20 from the Philippines, the host country, and eight from South Africa, China, Tobago, India, Panama and Argentina
The GProCommission team is nearing the launch of a special online learning platform featuring more than 4,300 (and increasing) pastoral training curricular resources they have curated from around the world and in various languages
We have accepted 15 outstanding young pastors to the 2018 Dallas GPA; they are proceeding to obtain visas and raise their portion of the airfare
The blessing of you who care, pray and encourage.
We so need God's sustenance through health and through sickness, through progress and through challenges. Thank you for lifting Dr. Ramesh Richard, the RREACH team, and this ministry before Him.

In his words: Ramesh Richard November update | November 15, 2017
Dear praying friends,
I have spent months diving into the five occurrences of our Lord’s Final Commission. I/We must (1) go with the Gospel (Mark 16); (2) proclaim forgiveness (Luke 24); (3) make disciples of all nations (Mt. 28); (4) by the power of the Spirit (Acts 1); and (5) in the way Christ was sent (John 20). What He has said is what I have done at RREACH for the last 30 years, and last month, too!
In South Asia I spoke in two of five Sunday services at the world’s fastest-growing church, each service averaging 20,000. Their pastor has never had formal training for ministry! At a mega-festival, fully half the 20,000 youth responded to my invitation. I proclaim!
Then I headed to RREACH’s first event at our first established Chair of Biblical Preaching and Pastoral Ministries. The South Asia Institute of Christian Studies (SAIACS) is one of the finest seminaries in Asia. Most of the 50 attendees were teachers of preaching and will take this preaching method to their schools. We multiply proclaimers!
Hardly recovered from jet lag, I proclaimed God’s Word through four “heart messages” to the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication in chilly Minneapolis. Their goal? Planting 4 million more churches in the next four years. And yet who will pastor those churches to health? RREACH’s GProCommission addresses the church health side of church growth.
I might as well have stayed jet-lagged! A Middle Eastern country gave me opportunities at its most prestigious university. Sixteen pre-Christ, English Literature students actively wanted to know about the meaning of life, giving me permission at the end of two hours to share my personal conviction about the Lord Jesus. I did, and offered LifeRocks as follow-up.
A pastors retreat in a war-devastated country was the highlight of the month. After several years of frustrated efforts, we received the Lord’s provision in all ways to gather half (32) of all the pastors staying to serve in this sad area, with their wives and kids under 12, for a time of loving refreshment. Although their suffering is far greater than we can imagine, God used His Word through me to encourage them.
This Thanksgiving month, I cannot but thank God and you for helping me proclaim God’s Word and multiply proclaimers of God’s Word through your priceless support of RREACH.

A new RREACH acronym | November 10, 2017
Dear praying friends,
RREACH’s first national Global Proclamation Academy for women, WGPA, is taking place right now in Manila, Philippines. Praise God! Of the 28 taking part, 20 come from the Philippines and eight from areas around the world where we hope to hold future WGPAs. Please cover the organizers, Master Coaches, and delegates and their families with the shield and blessing of prayer. We’re excited to see where God takes this!
Just one week after RREACH gathered pastors from a war-torn country for a retreat, a group met within their country for prayer and encouragement. A few of their concerns include unity and better relationships, wisdom amid chaos, government relations, and more people following the Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s pray with and for these pastors and their families.
Dr. Richard has had a number of opportunities recently to talk with individuals about the Lord Jesus. Rejoice! Intercede for many to trust and follow Him. RREACH is looking at ways to free more of Dr. Richard’s time and focus for personal proclamation. Pray as we implement strategies.
We also appreciate your prayer for financial resources to meet ministry needs as we move toward the end of the year. Please ask that we will manage them wisely for maximum Kingdom effect, for God’s glory. Thank you!
