Only God

RREACH’s first operational value is “Only God.” One way we recognize and live our dependence on Him is by beginning, covering and ending every aspect of ministry in prayer, with thanksgiving.
Dr. Richard says, “Prayer precedes ministry,” and as the Lord continues to open doors for his ministry, we realize afresh the need for prayer.
Please take a moment to pray and praise over the updates on this page, featuring a daily prayer calendar at the beginning of each month. Also let us know how we can pray for you!

Prayer Updates

Happy Thanksgiving from Ramesh Richard | November 24, ,2016

Greetings, dear friends,

In the spirit of the one healed leper who returned to say thanks, I wish to express my Thanksgiving to the Lord Jesus and each of you. This year has been quite strategic, even spectacular, in what He has helped us do through your faithful giving and prayers, particularly over the last several months.

I wanted to send a short video greeting as a small token of thanks. Click here or the picture below to view the video.

Another way we want to show our gratitude is to pray for you specifically. Would you send us your own prayer requests so that we can go before our Heavenly Father on your behalf?

I pray you and your loved ones have a blessed Thanksgiving today.

Thanks-giving | November 12, 2016

Dear praying friends,

Though Dr. Richard seeks to cultivate an all-seasons culture of gratitude and praise in RREACH, in the U.S. it is officially thanks-giving season. So we want to thank you again for your prayer and encouragement of Dr. Richard. We thank God for you. We thank Him for your powerful partnership in Dr. Richard’s ministry.

This is also a season of focused planning for Dr. Richard. As he says, "I am praying for next few weeks—and will you pray too?

I need to construct and propose a framework for my Dallas Seminary engagement.

This is a critical period for our GProTeam before the official declaration of the GPro brand, GProCommission pipeline, and the GProConneXt platform.

I need to understand and express RREACH’s priorities (including GProCommission implications) by December 5 for board approval of strategies and budgets.”

Will you pray?

Seeking protection, provision & wisdom: Will you pray? | November 14, 2016

Dear praying friends,

This month Dr. Richard has turned his focus to finalizing plans for the next phase of his RREACH and Dallas Seminary ministry. Please intercede for God’s wisdom. His personal proclamation ministry, put primarily on hold during the GProCongress season, is flourishing. Pray especially that some friends he recently visited will draw closer to the Lord Jesus.

National GPA coordinator Rajiv Richard and his team have now scheduled 18 national GPAs for 2017. Pray for at least 25, and for protection and provision over the people and details involved in each one. GPA Romania is just two months away. Continue to pray for Dallas GPA applications, particularly from new and under-represented countries. To date, 13 of 25 pastors have been accepted and nine of 12 Master Coaches secured. Admissions interviews of the accepted pastors will begin in a couple of weeks and the difficult process of visa applications after that. Please ask God for discernment and favor.

GProCongress follow-up—the GProCommission for Trainers of Pastors—needs strong prayer support as it grows. Pray for the team, the technical platform, and for pastoral trainers around the globe to be significantly connected, united and strengthened.

Thank you for faithfully remembering Dr. Richard’s family, the RREACH staff and the RREACH board before the Lord, as well. Your prayers matter!

In his words: November update from Ramesh Richard | November 7, 2016

It’s 1:30 am, and I am about to leave for yet another flight…This last month, I sensed the next move in my post-Congress recovery: from revitalization to rejuvenation. Unsolicited, four people told me I looked much better than I did pre-Congress. I didn’t know that I looked that bad! I am feeling younger, though chronology always overrides feelings. I am grateful for the Lord’s sustenance.

It might have been the trip to Colorado Springs—who won’t feel younger going to the Garden of the Gods? Maybe it was hearing about the 1 million church-planting commitments from the organizations present at the Global Alliance of Church Movements. Many were present at the GProCongress in June, and they testified to how inspired they have become to see church health accompany church growth. Or it might have been the targeted speaking to the Christ for All Peoples gathering in Dallas. This is a huge time of opportunity in the uncertainty that has beset the nation, especially considering immigrants. We don’t have to travel anymore to reach the world we have tried to reach over the last 200 years of traditional missions.

It definitely was the four days fulfilling Bonnie’s life-dream to view the fall colors—from Pennsylvania through Virginia (Shenandoah Valley/Blue Ridge Mountains), to North Carolina and Tennessee (the Great Smokies), we watched the fiery red and brilliant orange testimonies to God’s creative artistry.

Finally, through providential intervention, I was able to speak at a youth festival in Asia. They asked me to bring the salvation message. We were overwhelmed by the response. Over 600 young people entrusted their eternal futures to the Lord Jesus Christ—a powerful scene that re-inflated the personal evangelistic proclamation tire of RREACH, which had slowly gone flat over the last four years of Congress preparation and management.

To close out the month, I spoke at two leadership summits to opinion leaders who have dedicated their professional careers to Christ in a majority pre-Christ environment.

Thank you for sending me all over this world for Christ and the Gospel.

Tired, but overjoyed | October 29, 2016

Dear praying friends,

On Monday morning, the documents necessary for his international trip that evening not yet released, Dr. Ramesh Richard packed his bag in faith. Ninety minutes before he was to leave for his flight, they arrived. He was off to southeast Asia thanks to the last-minute assistance of a dear friend in Houston and a quickly arranged road trip, all in God’s timing and providence.

Thursday Dr. Richard called RREACH, tired, but overjoyed. A significant number of young people responded to the Gospel invitation after his talk that day, and a later engagement with business leaders brought forth more amazing stories. “God gained the victory,” he said. Thank you for praying, dear intercessors! Pray for God’s continuing work in the lives of those who have made decisions and His speaking through Dr. Richard in several upcoming commitments.

Nine pastors have been accepted as candidates for the 2017 Dallas GPA, three from priority countries, and seven Master Coaches have been secured. Even as we ask God for more applicants and positive responses from requested Master Coaches, we ask Him to begin preparing the hearts and minds of those committed.

Pastoral training ideas, collaborations and connections from the GProCongress are taking exciting shape and direction. A recent telephone conversation between formal and non-formal trainers of pastors all over the world “pushed the limits of Skype,” according to one participant, but produced clarity for further dialogue and action steps for immediate implementation. Please intercede for the GProCommission follow-up team and this ongoing process.
