Prayer Updates
Thank you for praying, here’s how God answered | September 1, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Praise be to God! He sustained and spoke through Dr. Ramesh Richard through his 48 hours of super-intensity—seven speaking engagements and many important connections. Comments from the young senior pastor of Bethel AG Church to Dr. Richard testify to how the Lord answered our prayers: “Thank you for standing in queue for personal prayers from our prayer volunteers during the 6pm worship session, some actions have spoken very loud…. The pastoral team has picked up from so much from your gracious expressions just as they have from your wonderful messages. Thank you for taking up preaching in all the four services and doing it with such passion and sincerity.” Thank you, pray-ers, for your vital part in Dr. Richard’s ministry.
Also praise God for a good start to GPA Lebanon. Nineteen pastors, some from closed countries in the area, have gathered (one could not come because of his mother’s illness). Continue to lift them, their families, and the organizers and Master Coaches to the Lord.
Despite challenges, the Lord is moving GProCongress preparations forward. Many from Dr. Richard’s recent meetings are enthused about attending and spreading the word. Please pray diligently for this excitement to grow through upcoming vision gatherings, for the registration process to work well, and for the funding to help these eager pastoral trainers.

Dr. Richard to speak 7 times in 48 hours; GProCongress mobilization | August 28, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Today Dr. Richard is set to depart for the next country on his South Asia itinerary. Beginning Saturday morning, he is to speak seven times in 48 hours, including at four full church services. Pray for his health, strength, and continued receptiveness to the Holy Spirit. Also pray that many will be receptive to the Lord’s message given through him.
Registrants from 70 countries have applied to the GProCongress so far. Because an event like this has never been done on a global scale, the mobilization team is breaking new ground in encouraging leaders to consider its tremendous value. Response has been highly positive, yet word needs to spread even more rapidly. Please ask the Lord for it to “go viral.” Also intercede for the registration team. Pray that the process will function smoothly, quickly and without technical glitches.
Thank you for remembering GPA Lebanon, set to begin Sunday, August 30. They need the Lord’s special covering amid the ongoing threat of violence in the entire region.

Intense South Asia schedule; GPA Lebanon days away | August 25, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Praise God for Dr. Richard’s safe arrival in South Asia after 22 hours of travel, and for the surprise blessing of meeting midway a friend and colleague also headed there. Dr. Richard has several speaking engagements for the general council of an influential denomination of churches in a lovely but war-torn country, as well as GProCongress vision meetings. Thank the Lord for these opportunities and ask Him to speak powerfully through Dr. Richard.
The delegate count continues to slowly climb as GPA Lebanon begins in less than a week. Please pray for a full set of 25 pastors, for clear passage as many come from even more troubled regions, for protection during the GPA, and for the Lord’s favor on all involved.
Thank you for continuing to ask the Lord’s favor over the GProCongress. God has shown His providence time and again. Yet, earnest prayer is greatly needed for global provision, especially in the areas of
Funding – large amounts are now being called into play as Congress preparation accelerates
Mobilization – getting the word out among thousands of pastoral trainers and getting them registered
Speakers – finding the right cross-section of pastoral training leaders and their mentees from all over the globe to fill 185 varied slots
And pray for His continued total protection. Thank you, interceding warriors.

Upcoming national GPA, continued travel and needs for the GProCongress | August 20, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Since we asked you to pray for GPA Lebanon, more pastors began applying. Thank you! Please continue to ask the Lord for a full set of 25 pastors and for His protection and favor as the organizers work hard to bring the GPA about in the challenging region. GPA Burkina Faso organizers rejoice that they have a good number of applicants for the Sept. 10 – 19 event, and yet they face challenges from the country’s political instability. “Thanks everyone for your prayers, which help us to be strong, wise and make all things according to the will of God,” says Pastor A, Dallas GPA 2014.
After a quick trip to Houston for a speaking engagement this weekend, Dr. Richard is set to travel through three South Asian countries next week. He plans to cast the GProCongress vision for several groups of leaders and has numerous speaking engagements. Please pray for the Lord to speak powerfully through him, and that he will maintain good spiritual and physical health during the busyness.
Also remember the critical need for the right speakers/presenters/forum leaders for the GProCongress. Pray for the selection and invitation process, and for good response.

GPA Lebanon challenges, strategic GProCongress presentations | August 17, 2015
Dear praying friends,
GPA Lebanon is scheduled to start August 30. Pastors from several neighboring countries hostile to the Gospel are planning to come, eager for this opportunity. However, GPA organizers are facing difficulty finding enough candidates, since the region is volatile and so many have to be bi-vocational pastors by necessity. Please pray that at least 25 young lead pastors from this area of huge need will be able to attend and receive the invaluable GPA experience of connecting, uniting and strengthening.
This week Dr. Richard is scheduled to make two key presentations to ministry leaders about the GProCongress. We desire for these well-connected leaders to mobilize many in their networks to attend the Congress and to further spread the word to their networks. Please ask the Lord for both presentations to be well-attended and effective in communicating the need to come together in a new way at the Congress for better and increased pastoral training.
