Dr. Richard says, “Prayer precedes ministry,” and as the Lord continues to open doors for his ministry, we realize afresh the need for prayer.

Multiplying trained pastors and pastoral trainers | August 14, 2015
Dear praying friends,
This week the RREACH staff had the privilege of meeting a national GPA graduate from Costa Rica. Training for pastors is hard to come by in his region of Costa Rica. In addition to planting two churches, one among Costa Rican nationals and another among English-speakers in the area, this dynamic second-generation GPA-trained pastor is now using Dr. Richard’s “Scripture Sculpture” to train yet other pastors—a third generation equipped to preach expository sermons.
We praise God for the grassroots growth of biblically-based pastoral training even as we prepare for next year’s global gathering of pastoral trainers, an event intended to exponentially increase the momentum and accessibility of training. On the logistics side, many contracts have been successfully negotiated. The application and registration process, which had a few technological snags early, is now smoothing out. Praise God for these answers to prayer, and keep on lifting up Dr. Richard and each member of the Congress Core Team. Pray for creativity, diligence, insight and trust, and for physical and spiritual health/protection for them and their families.

God’s constant care | August 10, 2015
Dear praying friends,
The GProCongress has nearly doubled Dr. Richard's engagements in 2015 over 2014. To date he has logged 54 events in 18 locations across 10 countries. Last year at this time, he had participated in 30 different events in 14 different locations across seven countries (not counting the Dallas GPA or personal engagements, such as weddings).
We praise God for His constant care for Dr. Richard and his family during this intensified activity, and they are grateful for the many who pray for them and even send encouraging greetings. Please continue to lift them to the Lord.
Regarding the GProCongress, specifically pray over the application/registration process. Pray that the process will be smooth, technology will function as it should, and for quick and accurate communication. Also ask the Lord for ongoing progress in recruiting speakers, applicants and funding.

GProCongress vision-casting and speaker selection | August 6, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Thank you, dear friends, for your continuing intercession for the GProCongress, this compelling, global and historic opportunity for the health and beauty of Christ’s bride worldwide.
God has been providing excellent opportunities for Dr. Richard and teammates to spread the word about the Congress this week in conjunction with the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit. This evening, the Lord willing, they will hold the GProCongress Vision Dinner. Please ask God to bring the right people to the dinner, to empower Dr. Richard as he casts the vision, and to generate excitement and action toward Congress attendance and event funding.
Please also pray diligently for God’s specific guidance in the speaker selection process, and for those invited to accept. Key Congress speaking invitations have been extended; many more are yet to go out.

Answered prayer, upcoming opportunities | August 3, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Just days ago Dr. Richard’s August schedule looked daunting. But then God provided a way to combine two trips into one. Another answer to prayer for Total Protection and Global Provision. Your intercession makes a difference!
Dr. Richard’s next engagements include a number of significant GProCongress vision-casting meetings during the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit. Please pray for opportunities to connect with the right people and for excitement about the Congress to spread.
We also ask prayer for Congress funding. To meet obligations and prepare adequately, we estimate needing $5,000,000 by December 31, 2015. Further, we anticipate needing another $2,500,000 by June 1, 2016, and $2,500,000 by December 31, 2016. This seems impossible, but, God can make it possible. As Dr. Richard says, “The Congress is not about pastoral training for the sake of pastoral training but pastoral training for the sake of the Great Commission.”

GPA pastors training pastors; recruiting for GProCongress | July 27, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Last week we received the following note from Pastor D, the 2015 Dallas GPA graduate from Haiti:
I want to thank you again for your investment in our life during Dallas GPA 2015. I had 5 days of teaching last week. 35 pastors attended the class. Some of them came very far and in difficult area to attend the training. We ate, worshiped and shared experiences. The experience of GPA 2015 was very helpful for this week of teaching.

Give thanks for this good report and lift up all 26 graduates from the 2015 Dallas GPA as they faithfully proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ and pass what they have learned to other pastors and leaders in their nations.
Every fifth year, Dallas GPA grads get together for a strategic reunion. The Lord willing, many will attend the 2016 Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers where we will meet instead of hosting a Dallas GPA. Because an event of this scale has never before been held for people involved in training pastors, especially in bringing them together from non-formal and formal sectors, getting the word out is crucial. Please ask God to specifically guide and greatly bless mobilization efforts. Thank you.
