Prayer Updates
GPA Nicaragua completed; GPA Tanzania starting this week; and more | March 16, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Each day brings new matters for praise and prayer. Thank you for undertaking this vital ministry on Dr. Ramesh Richard’s and RREACH’s behalf. Here are a few items for your intercession this week:
GPA Nicaragua graduated 25 fine young pastors last week! Many are fairly young in ministry and in faith. Praise God for their connecting, uniting and strengthening, and pray for continued growth in these areas.
GPA Tanzania is set to begin this Thursday, March 19. National GPA Coordinator Rajiv Richard leaves for Africa tomorrow. Pray that this special set of men will connect, unite and be strengthened.
2015 Dallas GPA candidates from Nigeria and Cambodia have received visas! Four more pastors have visa appointments this week; some still need to make appointments. Timely visa applications help us obtain better airfares (and each pastor is responsible for one half of his airfare).
The GProCongress Program Leader is one of Dr. Richard’s most pressing prayer requests. We would like to have this person in place by April 1. Please ask the Lord to provide.
Dr. Richard has a busy week and two Sunday morning messages to deliver before he takes off next Monday, March 23, the Lord willing, for a jam-packed trip across Asia. He praises God for the medical help his daughter, Sitara, received while battling a serious infection last week, and is grateful for each who prayed and sent encouragement.
Severe attacks on Christians in the Middle East continue. One 2015 Dallas GPA candidate from the region sent the following note on Sunday, 3/15: Please pray for the people whose relatives were killed and injured in suicide attacks on churches. My own house is very near one of the affected churches. I had gone for Sunday service and my wife was at home. She is traumatized and very shocked. Please pray for our family as well.
We appreciate your faith-full, persevering prayerfulness!

Fervent request for Middle East situation from an Acquaintance | February 26, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Dr. Richard has been burdened by the terrible events unfolding in the Middle East and wishes to ask all of us to pray urgently and fervently. This morning he received an urgent circular with horrific pictures from an acquaintance requesting worldwide prayer.
“This is so unbearable to behold, but we are not called to describe or analyze the incident, but to be moved with urgency to PRAY:
that God will give Christians the strength to endure and be at peace amidst this evil.
that their faith and love for the Lord will only increase, so that they will testify to the glory of the Lord.
for their miraculous deliverance, in accordance to God's will.
for a miraculous intervention in the lives of the persecutors, that they will be transformed to be powerful evangelists for the Lord, just like Saul was transformed to Paul.”
We are not aware of any GPA pastors being directly affected, although many minister in tragic situations in that region and elsewhere. Pray for U.S. visas for fine, selected pastors who are to attend the Dallas GPA 2015 and are being denied because of the world situation. These realities are part of why Dr. Richard presses on to connect, unite and equip large numbers of pastors around the world. Over recent weeks he been able to make valuable connections and spend quality time on the GProCongress program. Thank you for praying, and please continue to lift Congress program and mobilization efforts to the Lord.
Also, GPA Nicaragua is set to begin next week. Pray for the Lord’s protection and for delegates to be specially connected, united and strengthened.

Before it’s too late | February 20, 2015
“Good news!! The Lord is coming,” a friend wrote to Dr. Richard. For those of us who trust the Lord Jesus Christ, that is good news. It isn’t good news for the billions who don’t. Every day Dr. Richard keenly senses that "the Gospel is not good news if it gets there too late." He fulfills his gifting to proclaim the Lord Jesus, and his calling to equip other proclaimers, while there is still time. Your prayers mean more to him than we can express. We can’t thank you enough for praying for him. Please keep on asking the Lord for direction, protection and Christlike character in every area of life.
Also join us in praise for the Lord’s goodness bestowed on and through Dr. Richard’s father, Dr. John Richard. He celebrates his 92nd birthday today!
Some other ministry details needing intercession include:
The right 25 candidates, at least five from new countries, to attend the upcoming Dallas GPA
Dallas GPA candidates obtaining visas; the process has been difficult this year
GProCongress program planning
Clarity regarding the many speaking invitations Dr. Richard receives
Provision of all resources (human, spiritual, financial) for ministry
Thank you again, dear pray-ers!

Dr. Richard at Moody Bible Institute Founder’s Week and more 2015 Dallas GPA News | February 6, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Despite being from, as he says, a “sun-people,” Dr. Richard is in wintry Chicago to speak at Moody Founder’s Week and be interviewed live on Moody Radio today. To watch Dr. Richard’s session click here and to hear him on Moody Radio click here. Please pray that his talk and the interview will be encouraging, challenging, and above all, promote the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nine of the 26 2015 Dallas GPA candidates now have their visas, but we have also learned that a second pastor, who went early this week, was denied. Continue to intercede for the candidates as they go through this process. Two more visa appointments are scheduled for next week.
Thank you for remembering Dr. Richard’s family, the RREACH Board, the RREACH staff and the GProCongress team, too.

A busy, yet fulfilling season; Dallas GPA visa appointments | February 2, 2015
Dear praying friends,
Dr. Richard speaking at DTS chapel
Thank you for praying Dr. Richard up to and through another key GProCongress planning session last week, a speaking engagement in DTS chapel and lunch for RREACH friends, a RREACH board meeting, and making additional strategic connections. This Friday, the Lord willing, he will speak at Moody Bible Institute’s Founder’s Week and be interviewed live on Moody Radio. Thank you for covering his wife, Bonnie, and the rest of his family in prayer during this busy season, too.
Three 2015 Dallas GPA candidates have visa appointments coming up (one tomorrow); last week one pastor was denied a visa. Please intercede for this pastor as he deals with this discouragement, and for the others as they apply. Pray for the right 25 delegates, and for representation from at least five new countries. Please lift up all Dallas and national GPA graduates and their families as they minister amid the many different pressures of life.
