Prayer Updates
A sleepless but splendid start to 2015 | January 2, 2015
Dear praying friends,
“I am worn out after a rich and meaningful start to the New Year, just like I would want it—my equivalent of a ministry-Times Square ball-drop!” So wrote Dr. Richard after he spoke at a Watch Night service for 2,000 in Chennai, India. (You can watch a brief video here: http://viewpure.com/YSzXech0cMc.) He has since traveled north to Maharashtra State to meet with pastors, cast vision for the GProCongress, and speak at an evangelistic event for business leaders, all organized by GPA grad Pastor A. Early reports indicate that about 110, 60% nonbelievers, attended the evangelistic event. The Lord willing, on January 5 he’ll be off to another city for a spontaneously-organized evangelistic event.
As you remember Dr. Richard and these ministry opportunities in prayer, please also ask the Lord to give him restorative sleep. He managed to get three hours in the first 30 of this trip. Thank you for praying!

Praying the New Year “in” | December 30, 2014
Dear praying friends,
Dr. Richard sends New Years greetings from India, where he is a keynote speaker for the University of Evangelical Students of India’s 60th jubilee gatherings. In addition to presenting devotions, the Lord willing, he will speak at the Watch Night service of covenant and communion. Please pray for this to be a meaningful time. Also pray for the Lord’s hand to be on him during upcoming events and meetings—both scheduled and impromptu.
The GProCongress team continues to move forward toward the 2016 global gathering of pastoral trainers. Ask the Lord for excellence in execution of every detail and resolution of the hurdles that inevitably come with planning an event of this scope. And don’t forget to pray for total protection and global provision.
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” Psalm 96: 1-3

Past, present, promised—pray! | December 26, 2014
Dear praying friends,
This is a season of anniversaries for Dr. Richard. We all have just observed the anniversary of Christ’s incarnation. Dr. Richard also marked his 40th year in the United States (Dec. 21), Bonnie’s and his 38th year of marriage (Dec. 27), and has been invited to be a keynote speaker for the Union of Evangelical Students of India’s 60th anniversary conference, just days away. We thank God for His eternal goodness.
As Dr. Richard leaves for India, please pray for travel and health mercies, clear and penetrating proclamation, and moment-by-moment guidance. His schedule includes 10 flights in a little more than 10 days to engagements in several different locations. He will speak to students, business leaders and Christian leaders. Remember his family as he travels, as well.
Thank you for praying, dear friends! May 2015 shine with His promised presence.

Praise for the Lord Jesus Christ, pray that more may believe | December 24, 2014
Dear praying friends,
This Christmas season we rejoice anew that we can know God through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ! Many thousands of individuals all over the globe have heard of the Lord Jesus Christ because God has gifted, called and empowered Dr. Richard to proclaim the good news. (Many more have heard through pastors he has trained.) Please pray that, during this time when the birth of Christ receives greater public attention, each who has heard will embrace Him as Savior and Lord.
Also remember the Church worldwide as we worship the one true God during Advent in a vast range of languages, locations and customs, as well as conditions and situations. Our worship and work are ongoing. Thank you for lifting up Dr. Richard and RREACH, in particular, as we obey His calling, and pray that the way One Billion Individuals think and hear about the Lord Jesus Christ will change for His glory.

Prayer Multiplying! | December 16, 2014
Dear praying friends,
God is answering our prayer for Dr. Richard and the rapidly approaching Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers—and multiplying it. Dr. Richard received the following note after an engagement in Spokane, Washington, last week:
Your message…today was the most challenging subject and prayer request we have had in 2014. As we have learned about the Global Proclamation Congress in 2016, our minds have been increasingly stretched. But today you hit us with exponential expansion as you described the problems of pastoral development and training and the scope of the GProCongress in Bangkok.
There is now a greater sense of urgency in our interceding for you and the GProCongress, and all those missionaries in the world's fields…. Between now and June 2016, the GProCongress is a major, weekly prayer point of ours.
Multiplied prayer according to the Lord’s will is multiplied power. Thank you, prayer partners, for your faithful intercession. Points of prayer to lift up this week:
Praise for safe travels, endurance and encouragement through the demands of Dr. Richard’s recent schedule.
GPA Cuba (January 2015) – preparation is going well. Pray for nine more pastors to attend.
2015 Media Outreach message filming – the first of Dr. Richard’s short videos will be filmed Thursday morning, Dec. 18, the Lord willing.
Time away for Dr. Richard and Bonnie – Dr. Richard hopes to get away with his closest and most sacrificial ministry partner—his wife, Bonnie—this weekend. Please pray for refreshment.
