Join Dr. Richard and friends from around the world at the beginning of each week to pray for our world. Every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. US Central (Daylight) Time, we unite in a fast and precious 45 minutes of intercession over the pandemic and other ministry matters. Write to to receive details necessary to join the call. Or, watch the call live on this page.
RREACH’s first operational value is “Only God.” One way we recognize and live in our dependence on Him is by beginning, covering and ending every aspect of ministry in prayer, with thanksgiving. As the Lord continues to open doors for Dr. Richard and his ministry, we are even more aware of the need for prayer.
We post regular prayer updates on this page, including a daily prayer calendar at the beginning of each month. Please take a moment to visit and look over recent posts of requests and God’s responses.
Note that most of these are ongoing prayer requests; the date listed is the posting date.
With thanks to each one who prayed for my decision and even wrote of your support, I am now in Botswana, having made a decision to proceed on the missionary journeys, unless prohibited from entry. I didn't show any fever on their thermometer, but they have permitted me in provisionally. Indeed, all of life is provisional!
In the time being, I invite you to continue to pray for me to well-serve God's Word personally—high-level pre-evangelism outreach to opinion leaders and reinforcing pastoral leaders—with hope around the one thing on everyone's mind worldwide.
Our world faces tempestuous times, doesn't it? And we in the middle of our own vulnerabilities still must serve with a robust view of God—the reason I regularly pray for His total protection, global provision and manifest presence.
Should all things go as projected, but not predicted, I am to be back home in about a week's time, whether needing to be under self-quarantine I do not know, since I am not serving in a Level 1–3 region for the virus. You should hear back from us in some form with an update ... but in this note wanted to follow our practice of reporting on prayer requests with appropriate thanks to His people and always inadequate thanks to God.
As Dr. Richard finishes meetings in South Africa, he requests prayer as follows:
Would you kindly pray about whether I should go on to two other countries (Botswana and Lesotho) or find a way back home? Since their health systems are not as strong, they have moved U.S passports from Category 2 to Category 1 risk.
If I do arrive there, I would rather not be arbitrarily placed in their quarantine...and a 14-day self-quarantine in Africa may be challenging...am traveling with carry-on only!
We need to make a decision in about 12 hours...noon on Thursday U.S. Central Daylight Savings Time.
Grateful for the Sovereign One who will strengthen me to endure and even embrace all circumstances for the advance of the Gospel. (Phil. 4:12-13)
You are invited to join our next virtual prayer gathering on Thursday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m. U.S. Central Daylight Savings Time. For more information, please email or call +1 972-528-6100.
Praise God for the growing registration list for the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America and the Caribbean; pray for many more registrations.
Pray for the 2020 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy candidates still applying for visas.
Pray for Dr. Richard’s trip to several countries in the south of Africa.
Praise God for sustaining the graduates of GPA Chad. Pray for upcoming national GPAs.
The bigger picture:
The latest count of trainers of pastors registered for the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress is 151. Praise God! Pray for the team working diligently to mobilize the right 500. Pray for those who wish to attend but are hesitating to register because of potential airfare costs. RREACH is covering all their conference costs, including boarding and lodging. Pray that they will step forward in faith to register now.
We have 13 candidates for the 2020 Dallas GPA with visas. We need 12 more. Please ask God for great favor on those applying for visas (five this week). Pray for the team in Dallas as they prepare.
Dr. Richard is off on a trip to several countries in southern Africa. Pray for his health, safety and impact. Pray that he will be sensitive to God and proclaim His Word clearly and winsomely. Pray that pastoral leaders will be encouraged and pre-Christians attracted to the Lord Jesus. Praise God for Dr. Richard’s recent fruitful trips to Nashville and Atlanta in the U.S.
Nineteen of 26 GPA Chad attendees, in addition to some organizers, came down with malaria and flu during the GPA. Praise God that they persevered to finish! Pray for His protection as they return to their ministries better able to preach and live biblically.
Please also pray for a national GPA for pastors from a closed Southeast Asian country. Organizers ask for earnest prayer regarding coronavirus and other concerns that could hinder pastors from attending.
We have just passed 02022020. For 900+ years we could not have written out a numerical palindrome (same backward as forward) of the date. February 2, 2020, tells me the year and decade are in full swing. I must use time and life well.
The year began with an intense trip to Brazil to teach a Dallas Seminary course on Culture, Meaning, and Contextualization to 14 doctoral level students. One wrote, “Professor, I write briefly to thank you for this week of great wealth for our lives.” RREACH uses the tagline “delivering spiritual wealth worldwide” with special reference to those who have not heard the Gospel, but did not think we bring wealth to believers, too. Paul’s writings express biblical precedence to “spiritual riches in Christ Jesus” for all.
I also got to preach and cast vision for the October 2020 Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean in three cities. We want 20% of the attendees to be Portuguese-speaking. Please pray for God’s wisdom in this good work of preparing for great outputs of this entire vision and project.
The day after I returned, I had to speak at the Dallas Seminary chapel. Though I was tired after an overnight flight from São Paulo and sad with a dear friend who lost his wife, God strengthened me. My friend and I, and all of us, must use time and life well.
A new immigrant congregation made up of dynamic and gifted young people from India invited me to bring an evangelistic talk to their growing church plant. I remembered my own youth and offered to switch ages with them. No one has yet agreed.
With the new year upon us, I am shifting my attention to writing for all audiences, delivery mechanisms, and line extension of products. Would you pray for deep concentration of mind and the creation of blocks of time to produce content of substance to deliver spiritual health to believers and nonbelievers?
Thank you for joining us in yet another year of service. I have many decisions to constantly make; I need to know the Lord’s guidance, insight and empowerment, for they affect many at several levels. And you need to know that your faithfulness helps keep me serving in, at and through RREACH. Thank you so very much.
Praise God and pray for our upcoming prayer call with RREACH friends.
Pray for a national Global Proclamation Academy (GProAcademy) taking place in North Africa.
Pray for the Dallas GProAcademy candidates applying for visas.
Praise God for good response to our new podcast series.
Pray for recruitment efforts for the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean (GProLATAM&CARIB Congress).
The bigger picture:
Pastors enjoy some recreational time together--a great way to bond--at the national GProAcademy taking place in North Africa right now.
We are excited about our virtual prayer gathering coming this Thursday, Feb. 20, 8:00 p.m. US Central Standard Time! Praise God for the technology and skills that make it possible. Pray for everything to work well and that this time of praying together will please Him and accomplish His purposes.
You are invited to this prayer gathering. If you would like to participate, let us know at or +1 972-528-6100.
Pray for the organizers and attendees of a national GProAcademy in North Africa going on right now. Pray that the pastors will be connected, united and strengthened to preach and live biblically in this difficult place. Pray that all involved will sense God’s loving care and sovereignty. Pray for the preparation for other national GProAcademies.
Thank God for another group of fine young candidates for the Dallas GProAcademy; we currently have 10 with visas (nine of whom already had visas). Sadly, several pastors' visa applications have been rejected. Every year we need fervent prayer in faith for the visa application process. Pray that He will grant favor to those waiting to hear if their visas were granted and those who have yet to apply, as He sees fit. Thank Him now for His wise provision.
Our Media team has repackaged some of Dr. Richard’s video messages in the popular podcast (Web-based, digital audio) format. Praise God for the good response these messages are getting! Pray for many listeners to be exposed to the Lord Jesus Christ and for many to embrace Him as Savior and Lord.
Finally, keep lifting our GProLATAM&CARIB Congress recruitment efforts before the Lord. Momentum is beginning to build. Also pray for those who wish to attend but have financial or logistical challenges.
You are invited to join Virtual Gathering with Ramesh Richard and RREACH: Pray with Us on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 8:00 p.m. CST. For more information, please email or call +1 972-528-6100.

Pray for national Global Proclamation Academies (GPAs) as they start again this year.
Pray that Dr. Ramesh Richard will be able to set aside time for writing projects.

Praise God for progress in updating our LifeRocks website. Pray for the ongoing project of translating more than 300 LifeRocks videos into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic and Chinese. We need more translators. Pray that these messages will cause many to think differently about the Lord Jesus.
We are working toward national GPAs this year in North Africa, Southeast Asia, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Lithuania, Macedonia and more. Each requires great effort in organizing and recruiting. Pray for the RREACH team overseeing these. Pray for local organizers to each find 25 pastors who see the GPA’s value and can set aside 10 days to attend.
Ask God to provide the quality time and concentration Dr. Richard needs for writing projects. Pray for His enablement in every way. Pray for Dr. Richard’s meeting with the RREACH board of directors later this week.
Praise God for bringing people and details together for the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress. We pray that everything we do and say in preparation will honor God and accomplish His work. Please pray for the program team as they pursue presenters. And keep praying for early registrations with payment. We're seeing better progress.
January letters are hard to write, looking back while much about the newness of a new year should not be lost. And yet, precious board, staff and family times, along with strategic ministry at year-end, must not be overlooked.
While I shall not demand that God use the gifts of expression He has given me, I do petition Him daily to open (and close) doors of opportunity to serve His Word everywhere, privately and publicly, with eternal consequences.
At the turn of each year, since people are open to the meaning of festivity (and their very lives), two new-immigrant groups in Dallas invited pre-Christ friends to receive God’s message through this messenger. The year's finale took place in Panama, where 35 believers brought 100 “upper-strata” friends to music, food and my presentation.
There is nothing more thrilling than to revisit God’s provision of my eternal salvation and then to publicly present it. And to see dozens who say “yes” to the good news. Finally, to imagine the delight of heaven over one sinner that repents! Thank you for supporting me in changing the way people think of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you also for accompanying me in changing the way people hear about the Lord Jesus Christ. We primarily accomplish this through strengthening of local pastoral leaders. About 175 Panamanian pastors came to a historic first...gathering together from regions and denominations across the city-country! They wish to serve as local hosts of Panama 2020—RREACH’s Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean—with prayer, volunteers and advocacy.
I seek your ongoing encouragement, dear friend. Remember the large inspirational challenge? We landed 34 cents ahead at 10:00 p.m. the night of the deadline with a gift from Brunei. Eventually ahead by about $3,000, we offered the excess back to the final donor as part of our integrity. He generously released it for other use.
Thank you again for sending me on your behalf to serve God’s Word globally.
Pray for Dr. Richard’s trip to South America to teach and mobilize for the Global Proclamation Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GProLATAM&CARIB Congress).
Pray for Dr. Richard’s preparation to speak on January 15 at Dallas Seminary's chapel service.
Praise God for the many ways He has provided for RREACH ministry through His people.
Praise God for a productive trip to Panama to prepare for the 2020 GProLATAM&CARIB Congress.
The bigger picture:
Dr. Ramesh Richard spoke at two events during his recent trip to Panama.
Dr. Richard is scheduled to teach a Doctor of Ministry course for Dallas Seminary in Brazil early this month. Please pray for his strength of mind, body and spirit. Pray that he will connect well with the class. Also pray for excellent opportunities while there to mobilize trainers of pastors from the Portuguese-speaking world to attend the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress.
The day after he returns from Brazil, the Lord willing, Dr. Richard will speak at the first Dallas Seminary chapel service of the semester, January 15. Pray that he will find time to prepare and that he will proclaim God’s Word faithfully and eloquently.
Thank God for the many people who have been generous toward RREACH ministry with their time, attention, skills, prayer, counsel, finances and more. Ask Him to draw them nearer to Himself. Pray that we will wisely employ every gift of every kind He provides for His glory.
Praise God for a productive trip to Panama to prepare for the 2020 GProLATAM&CARIB Congress. Team members reviewed the venue and met with numerous service vendors and officials. Please pray for the ongoing process of arranging for services, negotiating contracts, and attending to the myriad details of convening an event for 500. Pray also that recruitment efforts will bring many early registrations with payment.
